KWMC
This year, right after Ignite 2008, KWMC will be hosting an English conference. Ignite 2008 participants are highly recommended to attend this conference to be blessed even more. Right after the end of Ignite 2008 on July 28th, the KWMC conference will start on the same day and continue until Aug 1st. The conference will be held at the same location.
The Korean World Mission Council for Christ (KWMC) is an umbrella organization designed to promote, coordinate, and mobilize 3,500 korean churches in North America and overseas for missions. For almost 20 years, KWMC has been greatly instumental in mobilizing the Korean Church in the USA and Korea in sending many missionaries. It began as a vision fo some church leaders as they met to fast and pray. As a resut the KWMC88 conference was born at Wheaton College, IL and 1,500 delegates gathered from all over the world under the banner "So I Send You." The conference emphasized that missions was no longer an afterthought, but a preeminant cause of the Korean Church. Now, twenty years later, God continues to use the KWMC conferences to challenge young and old to complete the Great Commission. This KWMC2008 conference is our 6th conference and will be held from July 28 though August 1, 2008 at Wheaton College. During KWMC2008 there will be two separate conferences going on simultaneously: a Korean speaking conference and an English speaking conference for our youth, college, MK and any other English speaking participants. We want to encourage all to join us. See what God has prepared for you.
